What Is the Standard Visiting Card Size in India?
The standard visiting card size in India is 89 × 54 mm. That's what fits a wallet, a cardholder and the card slots in most diaries, which is why nearly every card printed here uses it.
Our standard and classic cards print on 300 GSM stock in matte or glossy finish, single or double sided at the same price. Square and PVC cards have their own dimensions, listed on each product page.
Matte or glossy? Matte has a flat, non-reflective surface that's easier to write on and reads as more understated. Glossy is reflective and makes colours and photographs look more vivid. Same weight, same price — it's a preference rather than a quality difference.
Which Type of Visiting Card Should You Choose?
Standard — 300 GSM, matte or glossy, from ₹231 per 100. The default. Clean print, single or double sided. Right for most businesses and the one most people order.
Classic — 300 GSM premium stock, from ₹264 per 100. Better paper for a small difference in price. Noticeably better in the hand, which is the part people actually notice.
Rounded corner — from ₹271 per 100. Same stock as classic, corners cut round. Resists bending in a pocket, and it's the detail someone registers when they take your card out a week later.
Textured paper — from ₹407 per 100. Uncoated with a tactile finish. Suits architects, designers, consultants and anyone whose card is doing some of the work for them.
Non-tearable — 300 GSM PET, from ₹353 per 100. Synthetic stock that survives a wallet, rain and being sat on. Right for site work, field roles and anyone whose card lives in a pocket rather than a holder. Available in matte and glossy.
PVC — 760 micron, from ₹679 for 10. Plastic, closer to a credit card in thickness. Deliberately expensive, and usually ordered for senior staff or a small run where the card itself is meant to be the impression.
Square — from ₹231 for 96. Non-standard shape that stands out in a stack. The trade-off is that it won't sit in a conventional cardholder.
How Do You Design a Visiting Card Online?

If you have artwork, upload it from your device, add the information you want printed, choose the quantity and confirm. PDF, PNG and JPG all work. Send at 300 DPI at card size — a logo pulled from a website usually won't hold up at print resolution.
If you don't, choose from over 100 templates and add your name, company, designation and contact details.
What to Put on a Visiting Card
Name, designation, company name, phone number, email and website. That's usually enough. A card with six lines gets read; a card with twelve gets pocketed and forgotten.
Three things that matter in practice:
Keep 3mm clear of every edge. Anything closer risks being lost when the card is trimmed.
Don't go below 7pt. Smaller than that stops being readable on a card held at arm's length.
Use the back. Double-sided costs the same as single-sided, so a QR code, a service list or a map is free real estate most people leave blank.
